Charlotte
is a highly experienced professional with over 15 years of expertise working with autistic adults—both with and without learning disabilities—and individuals facing other mental health challenges. Her extensive background spans leadership, project development, and hands-on practice whilst maintaining a strong focus on deepening her knowledge and skillset.
Charlotte works as a freelance consultant, delivering training, workshops, and consultancy to organisations, professionals, and families. Often working in collaboration with organisations to understand the needs of the group in order to provide bespoke, engaging training.
In 2022, she founded Unco Collective, a collaborative initiative that brings together diverse perspectives, experiences, and skills for interdisciplinary projects.
Currently, Charlotte also works as a within a specialist organization for autistic adults. Her role includes working as part of a diagnostic team, providing post-diagnostic support, and facilitating group work with individuals. She also works closely with services that support people with autism and learning disabilities, collaborating with teams to improve understanding of behaviour, communication, and ways to meaningfully connect with individuals.
Charlotte is also currently studying Psychodynamic Counselling. This training further enriches her therapeutic perspective and informs her relational and reflective approach to practice.
She is a member of a Management Advisory Group - Providing consultation to a therapeutic community supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
Charlotte has a professional interest in the role of therapeutic communities in promoting psychological well-being and recovery, and how community-based models can offer meaningful alternatives within mental health support systems.
Charlotte’s approach—combining holistic practice, deep knowledge of autism and neurodivergence, and an interest in human complexity—gives her unique insight into how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. She works with individuals, families, and teams to inspire reflective, compassionate, and informed practice across a range of helping professions.
Outside of her professional roles, Charlotte is also an artist. She uses creativity, in combination with our connection to the natural world, as a way to explore self-expression, problem-solving, and the relationships we hold with ourselves and each other. Each working relationship is approached with attention, flexibility, and care to support deeper understanding and better outcomes.
